About us
CrowdSense is built by Artefact Group in Brisbane. We measure how many people are on site, where they are and how they move — during the event, not in a report a week later.
Why CrowdSense
Key features · Tech integration
Vision, our camera-based analytics, runs on the cameras already mounted in your venue. Where there are no cameras — or no power, or no network — our own hardware fills the gap.

Key features · Reporting & analytics
Aura OS is the dashboard your team watches during the event. Pulse reads the same data and turns it into forecasts and recommendations.
How it works
1
We place the right mix of nodes and cameras around your site and build the dashboard around your event.
2
Counts, occupancy and alerts stream into Aura OS from the moment gates open.
3
Alerts guide the day; afterwards we analyse the data and deliver a report with recommendations for the next one.
Optic Nodes
Optic Nodes are CrowdSense's edge-vision AI cameras — compact, weatherproof units that watch the points where exact numbers matter: gates, queues, entries and pinch points. Each node counts people on the camera itself and streams the numbers to Aura OS as they happen. Crews call them the Tally Lens.
Optic Nodes · On-device counting
Each Optic Node runs real-time people detection on the camera itself — no cloud round-trip, no video stream to manage. Footage is processed on the node. What leaves is the data you need: counts and events, encrypted in transit to Aura OS.
Optic Nodes · Built for event sites
Optic Nodes go up where the counting is needed — a gate pole, a wall, temporary staging — and run without site power or a site network.
Optic Nodes · One picture of the crowd
Optic Nodes do the precise counting. Sense Nodes read crowd pressure across the whole site. Both feed Aura OS live, and Pulse turns the combined picture into bottleneck forecasts your team can act on before the crush forms.
