Prove Progress. Protect the Site.

ConstructionSense puts a node on the fence before the slab goes down and leaves it there — timelapse for the whole build, alerts after dark, headcount at the gate. No site power, no network, no trenching.

The Platform

A Dedicated Platform, Not a Camera on a Pole

Site cameras record and hope somebody looks. ConstructionSense counts, detects and tells you — the node watches the build and only interrupts when something needs a person.

And it runs on batteries or solar over 4G, so it goes up at kick-off rather than waiting on the switchboard, the comms cabinet or a trench across the yard.

Capabilities

What It Does on Site

Progress you can prove

A dated frame for every day of the build, indexed and searchable. When a progress claim or a delay is questioned, the answer is a timestamp and a picture, not a recollection.

The site watches itself after dark

Nodes detect movement in exclusion zones and after hours, and raise an alert with the frame attached — the practical answer to an industry losing well over a billion dollars a year to site theft.

Who was on site, and when

Headcount at the gate through the day, matched against your induction list. Answer the question every principal contractor eventually gets asked.

PPE and exclusion zones

Continuous checks that hi-vis and hard hats are being worn in the areas you nominate, and that plant exclusion zones stay clear — flagged as it happens, not at the next toolbox talk.

Plant and delivery logging

Vehicle and delivery counts at the gate, and idle-time on the plant you are paying for by the week. Hire costs get a lot easier to argue with utilisation data.

Weather on the same timeline

Conditions are logged alongside the frames, so a wet-weather delay claim comes with the day, the rainfall and the photograph in one export.

How It Runs

Up at Kick-Off, Handed Over at PC

  1. 01

    Mount before the slab

A node goes on the fence, the site shed or a pole at kick-off. Battery or solar, 4G, no site power or network needed.

  2. 02

    It runs the whole job

Scheduled capture through the build, motion alerts overnight, and headcount at the gate — with everything buffered locally when coverage drops.

  3. 03

    Hand over the record

Finish with a timelapse for marketing, a searchable archive for the client, and the documentation your claims and disputes rely on.

Who It's For

Everyone Who Gets Asked What Happened

Head contractors

Progress evidence for claims, WHS management plan support, and a defensible record when a subcontractor dispute lands.

Site and project managers

See every site from one screen instead of driving between them, and get told about the after-hours movement rather than finding it in the morning.

Safety managers

Continuous PPE and exclusion-zone checks, incident reconstruction with retrospective review, and the paper trail regulators expect.

Developers and clients

Watch the asset go up without a site visit, and receive a handover archive that doubles as launch content.

The Record

Every Claim Comes With a Photograph

A dated frame for every day, indexed and searchable, with weather logged on the same timeline. A progress claim or a wet-weather delay arrives with evidence attached instead of an argument.

And the archive is yours at handover — the timelapse, the frames and the exports, ready for the client, the defects period or the launch reel.

FAQ

ConstructionSense, Answered

Do we need power or internet on site?

No. Nodes run on batteries or solar and report over 4G, so they go up before site power and stay up through the build. Where a site does have power and network, we use it.

How is this priced against camera hire?

ConstructionSense is quoted per node per month for the project duration, including connectivity and storage — the same shape as site camera hire, but the nodes also count, detect and alert rather than only recording. We will price it against your current arrangement.

Does this replace our site security?

It changes what security costs you. Motion detection with an attached frame after hours means a patrol or a monitoring centre gets a verified alert rather than a hunch, which is how most sites justify the spend against manned guarding.

What about worker privacy?

Detection is about presence, count and compliance — not identity. Retrospective review renders people as anonymised silhouettes by default, and retention is set per site. We will help you word the notification your WHS plan and site inductions need.

Can we keep the footage at handover?

Yes. The timelapse, the frame archive and the exported reports are yours. Hand them to the client, keep them for the defects period, or cut them into launch content.
