Pull events, totals and hourly counts from the REST API, and receive every event in real time by webhook.
Troubleshooting
- A camera will not connect or keeps dropping
Fix a camera that is not discovered, shows a network error, keeps reconnecting or gives a broken picture.
- Location offline: power, sleep and firewall
Keep the PC awake and counting through restarts, and let it reach the cameras and the portal through your firewall.
- High CPU or GPU load and missed counts
Bring the computer’s load down when it runs hot, lags or misses objects, and know when it is time for a bigger PC.
- Counts look too high, too low or drift
Find out why a count disagrees with reality: placement, profile, threshold, calibration, overlapping zones or the reset time.
- Feeds not counting: activation and feed limits
A camera shows in the app but no numbers reach the portal: activation, enabled feeds, plan limits and event dates.
Before You Write to Us
Where do I sign in?
The app signs in on the Windows PC with the login we email after activation. Dashboards and reports are at https://cloud.crowdsense.events, from any browser.
Does video leave my site?
No video is streamed to or stored in the cloud. The PC analyses the cameras and sends results as text. The portal’s Live view fetches a single still from your PC only when someone opens it, and an administrator can switch that off.
How do I get help?
Email support@crowdsense.events with your account reference (it starts CS-D-), the computer’s name and a screenshot of what you see.
Can I print these articles?
Yes. Every article prints cleanly to A4 from your browser’s print menu, without the site’s menus and banners.
Still stuck? Email support@crowdsense.events with your account reference and a screenshot, or see supported camera brands.
