No. Detection runs on the device and produces counts and movement patterns, not identities. No facial recognition, no plate recognition, no biometric matching. Where imagery is retained for retrospective review it is rendered as anonymised silhouettes by default, and retention is set per site. We will give your privacy officer the technical detail to verify that rather than asking them to trust it.
How does it work with our privacy impact assessment?
We provide what a PIA needs up front: what each node captures, what is processed on the device, what is transmitted, where it is stored, how long it is kept, and who can access it. We can also help word the public signage and notification your assessment recommends.
Can we trial it before committing budget?
Yes — that is the intended path. A scoped trial across the full fleet on a real site, with success measures agreed in advance and a written review at the end. You keep the data whether or not it proceeds.
Do we need power and network at each site?
No. Nodes run on batteries or solar and report over 4G, so they go on a light pole or a park sign without a civic works order. Where you have power and fibre, we use them.
How does this fit our procurement rules?
We quote in the format your team needs and can respond to open tenders, panel arrangements or direct engagements depending on your thresholds. Reference sites and specifications are available for evaluation panels.
Who owns the data?
You do. It is exportable at any time through the API, webhooks or a straight download, and it stays exportable after any trial, whatever the outcome.
