FAQ

The questions councils ask first

How is privacy handled?

Every node counts anonymously and processes on the device; only aggregate numbers leave it. The Privacy impact assessment pack documents the data flows, retention and signage to the Queensland and Australian frameworks, ready for the committee.

What does a site need?

A light pole, a sign post or a building edge to mount to, and daylight for the solar panel. No power, no cabling. A Site Mesh Gateway per precinct carries the nodes and its own 4G uplink.

Can we run a trial first?

Yes. Price one site for three months here, send it, and say trial in the notes. We scope it as an evaluation with success measures agreed in writing, and you keep the data either way.

What reporting is included?

Live dashboards and exports are included with every node. The quarterly precinct report writes it up for the acquittal; the dashboard and open-data feed keep officers and the public on the same numbers.
